Parish retreat and Quiet Day


Fr Ron Browning, a Benedictine Oblate, will be leading a Quiet Day at the Community of the Holy Name in Cheltenham on Saturday 16th March, from 10am to 4pm. He will be reflecting on Chapter 49 of Benedict’s Rule: “Concerning the Observance of Lent.” All are welcome.

For those who wish to stay overnight, and enjoy the prayerful peace and hospitality of the CHN Sisters, on Friday 15th from 2:00pm Fr Hugh will be leading a half day of silence; overnight bookings close Monday 11th March.

COSTS:
• For those staying overnight on Friday - $55 + donation to CHN
• For the Saturday Quiet Day – by donation to CHN
• Envelopes will be provided if you wish to pay by cash, or by cheque to “The Community of the Holy Name.” EFTPOS is also available on the day.

PRACTICALITIES:
• For those staying overnight: please bring your own sheets and pillowslips. Towels are provided. The Friday evening meal and Saturday breakfast, as well as accommodation, are all included in the $55 overnight cost.
• Saturday practicalities: morning and afternoon tea are provided, but you will need to BYO lunch. You may wish to share lunch with one another. There is plenty of fridge space, as well as a microwave.
